Invitation to stand for the Greystoke CLT Board

Greystoke Community Land Trust is inviting its members to put themselves forward for election to the Board at our Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 8 September 2026, at 7pm, Greystoke Village Hall

The Board is responsible for directing the work of the Trust and ensuring that it operates in accordance with its rules, objectives and responsibilities to the community. Board members help make decisions about the Trust’s priorities, finances, governance and future projects.

We are hoping to welcome three or more new members to the Board this year, bringing additional ideas, experience and local knowledge to help guide the Trust’s work.

Board members are expected to attend meetings, contribute constructively to discussions, act in the best interests of the Trust and the wider community, and declare any relevant interests. No specialist knowledge is required, although relevant experience, skills and local knowledge are welcome.

Board members elected at the AGM will normally serve for a three-year term.

Anyone wishing to stand must:

  • complete the Board Candidate Application Form; and
